Old basement shower remodeling
This Kenosha, WI basement bathroom was transformed from an old, unusable walk-in shower with bare concrete walls and virtually no privacy into a comfortable, functional, and finished bathroom space.
The remodeling project included new framing for the shower and bathroom, providing a solid foundation and improved privacy. The walls were properly insulated and covered with cement backer board to create a durable, moisture-resistant surface for tile installation.
A licensed plumber relocated the plumbing to accommodate the new shower layout and improve functionality. New wall and floor tile was then professionally installed, giving the basement bathroom a clean, updated appearance.
The remaining walls were finished with drywall, mud, patching, and sanding to prepare the space for its final finish. To help keep the project within budget, the customer chose to handle the painting themselves, allowing them to save money while still achieving a beautifully remodeled bathroom.
