Due to high winds the customer’s fence collapsed. After closer inspection, the broken posts were completely rotten due to improper setting and lack of ground grading for water damage mitigation.

We removed the old posts and properly set new ones taking care of proper water damage prevention – the post holes were first filled with gravel, then the posts were set in concrete, and finally, more gravel was added to create additional grading for water drainage. This should assure the fence will last through the next storm, which become more frequent in Kenosha. We worked with the client’s budget and were able to save most of the original pickets. The pickets with severe damage were replaced.
